Showcase: Qliphah in Providence's Shadow, a Tactical Counter-Timeline RPG for
PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and EPIC. The game will be released on
Thursday, September 24th, 2026.

In addition to its digital release, Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow will also come out
physically on Nintendo Switch and PS5 in Europe on September 24. Qliphah in
Providence’s Shadow will be getting PEGI-rated Standard and Deluxe Editions. Distributed
by Meridiem, the Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow Standard Edition will be available from
multiple retailers on September 24. The limited Deluxe Edition will be exclusive to Red Art
Games’ official online store with pre-orders opening on June 25 at 5 pm CEST.

Synopsis

The story takes place in a monster-infested Tokyo, where supernatural phenomena and
entities run amok. Soma Hoshigami, a young man working a delivery job, is attacked by a
supernatural creature, turning him into a "half-transformed" between human and monster.
He is then taken into custody as "lost property" by Rena Hizuki, an investigator in
Metropolitan Police Department’s Public Anomaly Squad.
In a world where supernatural phenomena is contaminating reality and causing it to collapse, players incarnate both Rena and Soma as they fight powerful enemies in a stylish manner while unraveling the mysteries behind the world's transformation. They track down a mysterious cult operating in the shadows and a new drug called "Tiny Truth", both spreading throughout Tokyo.
Players investigate supernatural incidents happening in Tokyo and fight their way through
powerful enemies in a unique battle system where timing is crucial. Players need to match
their Skills against enemies’ to unleash devastating counters, making use of tactical slow
motion to predict their opponents’ next moves.

Rena Hizuki, 28 years old (female)

An operative of the Metropolitan Police Department, Public Safety Bureau, Foreign Affairs
Section 5, 2nd Anomaly Investigation Unit.
Her stigma extends across her body, centered around her chest, and she possesses a
demon eye that can see into the future concerning herself.
She carries an unsigned cursed blade, a ceremonial sword she acquired at an ancient
market in China that functions as a key.
Possessing a slight power to interfere with space, she attacks Aberrations not by slicing
them, but with the power of severance.
Soma Hoshigami, 20 years old (male)
VA: Itsuki Tousei.
Considered 'lost property' after being picked up by Rena of the Metropolitan Police
Department, Public Safety Bureau, Foreign Affairs Section 5, 2nd Anomaly Investigation
Unit.
Since he had already undergone transformation when discovered, he is not treated as a
human for administrative convenience. His stigmas manifest on his lower abdomen and both
arms; he is a mutant in a 'half-turned' state toward Tier One. His mutation distorts the
surrounding space, and though he does it unconsciously, he attacks by manifesting
conceptual "fangs and jaws" through his punches and kicks.
