To say that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was highly anticipated is an
understatement. A year after the original game’s launch, fans around the
world were downright clamoring for more of the Blue Blur and his speedy
adventures.
Of course, when Sonic the Hedgehog 2 arrived in November of 1992, it

a plucky young fox nicknamed Tails.

legend that started it all. It comes in a gorgeous translucent Two Tail
Amber cartridge shell, packed in a foldout foil box adorned with
embellishments. Plus, you’ll find a full-color premium instruction booklet
inside, the same kind you’d crack open and pore over on the ride home
from the store.

Emerald energy! That’s right; our celebration of Sonic’s past collides
head-first with the future, and in the wake of all that lightning-fast energy
we’ve found fragments of the Emeralds themselves. These special
