The story of Sonic the Hedgehog is the story of the 1990s. Born of a

His debut adventure, the eponymous Sonic the Hedgehog, was an

through intricately designed multilayered levels, speeding from
checkpoints to boss fights to secret levels and beyond amidst a
wonderfully synthy symphony of groovy background music.
Now, 35 years later, iam8bit & SEGA are teaming up to celebrate
Sonic’s massive impact on gaming with a once-in-a-lifetime
commemoration. This is the Sonic the Hedgehog 35th Anniversary
Legacy Cartridge, a meticulously crafted fully playable release of
the legend that started it all. It comes in a gorgeous translucent
Blue Blur cartridge shell, packed in a foldout foil box adorned with
embellishments. Plus, you’ll find a full-color premium instruction
booklet inside, the same kind you’d crack open and pore over on the
ride home from the store.

Chaos Emerald energy! That’s right; our celebration of Sonic’s past
collides head-first with the future, and in the wake of all that
lightning-fast energy we’ve found fragments of the Emeralds
